Micro Dermabrasion and Chemical Peels : Sun exposure, acne or just getting older can leave the skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred.
Chemical peels involve application of chemical exfoliant to wound the dermis & epidermis for improving skin texture. It uses a chemical solution to smoothen the skin texture b removing the damaged outer layers. Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on your neck and hands.
Chemical Peels can be used in treating
- Sun-damaged skin
- Acne or acne scars
- Age and liver spots
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Irregular skin pigmentation
- Rough skin and scaly patches
Derma Roller : It is an incredible skin roller or skin needling device that helps to stimulate collagen or elastin without causing damage to the skin. Acne scars like fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks all have one thing in common – not enough collagen. By using derma roller you help to encourage your own collagen production which helps to break up the scar tissue and fill it in with newly formed collagen.
When the derma roller is rolled over the skin, it creates small punctures into the skin. This very slight damage causes the body to react by trying to heal the skin. It does this by irritating collagen production and elastin. Regular derma roller sessions help to encourage an ongoing healing process and eventually a reduction of the acne scar. The healing process may take months but some people noticeable results are seen within 7 – 10 days after the first treatment.
Q Switched Nd Yag Laser : The laser having 2 wavelengths of 1964 & 532nm is ideal for most of the pigmented lesions. Nd Yag laser with a wavelength of 532nm is suitable for superficial pigmented lesions include the moles, sun damaged/aged spots whereas the 1064nm Nd Yag is useful for deeper dermal pigmentation, dark tattoos and also skin resurfacing.
Laser Skin Resurfacing : Laser skin resurfacing is a popular cosmetic procedure that can help rejuvenate the skin and reduce the effects of the sun, aging and some facial skin disorders. It diminishes the appearance of imperfections on the skin’s surface. During the laser skin resurfacing procedure a laser is used to dissolve the molecular bonds of the damaged skin cells layer by layer until a smoother, more uniform skin appearance is achieved. Laser skin resurfacing is appropriate for patients seeking treatment for discoloration, wrinkles, sun damage, acne marks, or other types of imperfections in skin appearance.
Laser Hair Removal : Laser hair removal has proven to be a very popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure. It is a non-invasive, convenient way to permanently reduce unwanted facial or body hair.
The process takes from several minutes to several hours, depending on the area of the body involved. Laser hair removal uses low energy laser. It works by passing a beam of light through the skin. The laser energy passes through the patient’s skin, being absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. A percentage of the follicles are instantaneously and permanently disabled with each treatment.
- Minimal discomfort
- Immediate return to normal activities
- Replaces waxing, electrolysis and razors
- Leaves skin looking smoother and silkier
- Treats larger areas effectively because it removes more than one hair at a time
- A non-invasive, gentle technique that eliminates undesirable hair from all parts of the body
Botox : The simple, virtually painless non-surgical injection will temporarily reduce or eliminate frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet and thick bands in the neck. A purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, BOTOX relaxes the muscle that wrinkles the skin, reverses the signs of aging caused by repetitive muscle movements and virtually eliminates dynamic wrinkles. Thus giving a smoother skin, a refreshed face look and a more youthful appearance.
Dermal Fillers : Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, smooth out deep lines and wrinkles by adding volume underneath the skin leaves the face with a natural expression. They rejuvenate by hydrating the skin, improving skin elasticity and skin structure. Enhancement of the appearance of the lips can be done by adding volume and border definition.
Dermal fillers or skin fillers work differently to other injectable treatments, such as Botox, which treat dynamic facial lines by preventing contractions in the underlying muscles that cause them to appear. They are injected just below the skin’s surface to ‘fill in’ or ‘plump up’ facial wrinkles and folds, such as Nasolabial folds, and to smooth out acne scars.
Electrocautery : The procedure is mainly used for removal of warts, skin growth, small spots on the face, cherry angiomas etc.
